Wanted!

Mittens, Leather, Ski

The original ski mittens issued in 1941 and 1942 were made of cream-color deerskin leather. They came in four sizes:

Small (12 inches long),
Medium (12.5 inches long),
Large (13 inches long),
Extra Large (13.5 inches long).

Rather than the trigger-finger commonly seen on the poplin mittens used during most of World War II, the leather mittens had a flap that exposed the entire right hand.
